What a great day representing Willits FFA at the North Coast Meat Goat & Sheep Show in Eureka! Our students brought their lambs and goats to compete, learn, and showcase the hard work they’ve put into their projects throughout the year.

Beyond the ribbons and placings, the experience provided valuable opportunities to improve showmanship skills, receive feedback from industry professionals, and connect with fellow livestock exhibitors from across the region.

We are proud of these students for their dedication, sportsmanship, and willingness to continue learning. Thank you to the families, supporters, and advisors who helped make the trip possible. We learned a lot, had a great day, and represented Willits well!

💙💛 At our Willits FFA Banquet, we said goodbye to our 2025-2026 Officer Team and welcomed our new 2026-2027 Officer Team! 🌾🚜

We want to give a huge thank you to our outgoing officers — Emma Hulsey, Tessa Simpson, Angelina Leyva, Mia Chavez, and Ivan Estrada — for all of their hard work, leadership, dedication, and the countless hours they gave to our chapter this past year. Your commitment helped make Willits FFA stronger, and we are so grateful for everything you accomplished. 👏⭐️

🌾💙💛 Tonight at the Willits FFA Banquet, we recognized 12 of our members who were present for receiving their Greenhand Degree, along with many other members who earned the degree but were unable to attend tonight’s banquet. The Greenhand Degree is the first official degree in FFA and is earned through learning about FFA, agriculture, leadership, and becoming involved in chapter activities. Receiving this degree is an important accomplishment because it marks the beginning of each member’s FFA journey and shows their dedication and hard work. 🐄🌱

We are also proud to recognize Cameron Lindsey for receiving the Star Greenhand Degree! ⭐️ This honor is awarded to an outstanding first-year member who has shown strong involvement, leadership, and commitment to Willits FFA. Congratulations to all of our Greenhands on their accomplishments and for representing Willits FFA so well! 👏🚜

Congratulations to Madison Lawrence on participating in the State FFA Creed Speaking Competition. You embodied our chapter's spirit with dedication and did an outstanding job!

Big accomplishments for our Willits FFA members this week! 💙💛

Congratulations to Tessa Simpson, Malayna Lavenduskey, Zoeanna Gallups, and Ivan Estrada (not pictured) for receiving their California State FFA Degree — one of the highest honors a member can earn at the state level. This recognition reflects years of dedication, leadership, and hard work in their agricultural education journey.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to Madison Lawrence for earning 3rd Place in the Creed Speaking Competition at the North Coast Region Speaking Competition! Your confidence, preparation, and passion for FFA truly showed.
