Today marks the end of your middle school journey and the beginning of an exciting new chapter. As you leave Baechtel Grove and head off to high school, remember that this promotion is more than a celebration of where you’ve been—it’s a launch into where you’re going.

High school will bring new opportunities, new challenges, and new chances to discover who you are and who you want to become. There will be moments that push you outside your comfort zone, but those are often the moments where the most growth happens. Work hard, stay focused on your goals, ask for help when you need it, and never underestimate what you’re capable of achieving.

The habits you build, the choices you make, and the effort you put in over the next four years will help shape your future. Dream big, stay kind, and keep striving to be the best version of yourself.

As Cougars, you’ve already shown resilience, determination, and heart. Carry those qualities with you into high school and beyond.

Hoy marca el final de su trayectoria en la escuela secundaria y el comienzo de un nuevo y emocionante capítulo. Al dejar Baechtel Grove y comenzar la preparatoria, recuerden que esta promoción es más que una celebración de lo que han logrado hasta ahora: es el inicio de todo lo que está por venir.

La preparatoria les traerá nuevas oportunidades, nuevos desafíos y nuevas posibilidades para descubrir quiénes son y quiénes quieren llegar a ser. Habrá momentos que los sacarán de su zona de confort, pero muchas veces es ahí donde ocurre el mayor crecimiento. Esfuércense al máximo, manténganse enfocados en sus metas, pidan ayuda cuando la necesiten y nunca subestimen todo lo que son capaces de lograr.

Los hábitos que formen, las decisiones que tomen y el esfuerzo que dediquen durante los próximos cuatro años ayudarán a construir su futuro. Sueñen en grande, sean amables y sigan esforzándose por ser la mejor versión de ustedes mismos.

Como Cougars, ya han demostrado resiliencia, determinación y fortaleza. Lleven esas cualidades con ustedes a la preparatoria y más allá.

Thanks to the 8th grade parents, guardians and families who fundraised and volunteered for these past three years to give these kids many fun experiences to remember for their lifetimes!

Good evening 8th grade families,
If your child turned in a permission slip for tomorrow's trip, please have your child at the school no later than 5:45am. The bus will leave at 6am sharp. The bus will arrive back to school at 11:45 pm. Students will have one meal pass for Great America and will be provided snacks from the cafeteria. Great America is cashless and has kiosks where your child can put cash on a Great America card, or you can send them with their own card if they have Venmo or a debit card.
