We are proud to announce that Rickard Elementary won the April State Championship in Math for answering the most Prodigy problems correctly across all participating schools in North Dakota.

Our students worked hard, and we want to recognize the classrooms that helped lead the way:

• Mrs. Rydberg and Mrs. Vigness in 1st grade
• Ms. Vallevik, Ms. Olson, and Mrs. Qvamme in 3rd grade

Their effort and enthusiasm helped bring home this state title. Way to go, Roadrunners!

Re-Enrollment for 2026-2027
Required for Every Returning Student

2 Ways to Re-Enroll
1. PowerSchool Account ( WillistonSchools.org/powerschool )
2. Link in Email from PowerSchool (sent 4/1/26)

‼️This Year: Document Re-Submission Required
Required for all students: 5 enrollment documents must be submitted for each student due to the new boundaries & transition to Infinite Campus.

Required Documents
• Proof of Birth
• Parent/Guardian Photo ID
• Primary Proof of Residence
• Secondary Proof of Residence
• Immunization Record

Even if address verification was recently submitted for elementary school assignments, all five required documents must still be provided during enrollment.

Documents are uploaded in PowerSchool and are required to complete the re-enrollment process.

After May 15, Enrollment will be closed until August.

Due to the district’s required transition to Infinite Campus for the 2026-2027 school year, PowerSchool will be shut down after that date. Enrollment will not be available again until August 2026. Learn more: WillistonSchools.org/prepfor26-27

Elementary School Assignment Notifications

🏫 For Current K-4 Families
Elementary school assignment notifications will be sent later today (April 1) by email, ParentSquare, and text.

These notifications do not affect re-enrollment at this time. All current K-4 families should still complete re-enrollment.

If you did not complete address verification when previous requests were made, you will receive a separate notification regarding your need to submit address verification documents.

NOTE: Your student’s school assignment is not immediately connected to the re-enrollment process.

🖍️ Incoming Kindergarten Students
Families of students enrolled for kindergarten in 2026-2027 will receive a school assignment notification from the district by the end of June.

The district is currently processing and verifying addresses. In the meantime, families can look up their assigned school using the boundary map by entering their residential address.
