WEMS recently completed a six-week SCSU 1890 EFNEP Program with our scholars. Throughout the program, students learned about healthy eating, MyPlate, food safety, portion sizes, sugar, fats, and making healthier food choices.

Our scholars also participated in engaging, hands-on activities and prepared simple, healthy recipes throughout the sessions, allowing them to put what they learned into practice.

We are grateful to SCSU 1890 EFNEP for providing our scholars with valuable nutrition education and meaningful hands-on learning experiences. Thank you EFNEP educator and data specialist, I’Ayana Sanders for helping us empower our scholars to make healthy choices that can positively impact their lives!
