The Williston Area Chamber is offering a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) certification course this October — a powerful way to learn how to support someone experiencing mental health or substance use challenges.

• Recognize common signs & symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges

🚨 Bonus: Upper Missouri District Health Unit will teach how to recognize opioid overdose & administer Narcan — with a free Narcan kit for each attendee.

Upcoming Training: SecureWell Cased Hole Well Control

TrainND Northwest, in partnership with Vorenkamp Well Control Training, is offering SecureWell Well Control Classroom Training. This course provides instruction in well control and blowout prevention techniques specific to completion, workover, production, and P&A operations in a cased hole.

Key details:
- Classroom training plus field assessment/skills verification
- Students have 90 days after passing the classroom portion to complete the skills assessment on their rig with a qualified Field Assessor

TrainND Northwest is offering Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) Operator Certification: Aerial Boom Lift. This course meets operator training requirements under 29 CFR Part 1926.453 and ANSI A92.24 standards.

Participants will learn:
- Fundamentals, stability, and safety practices
- Key parts of a mobile elevated work platform
- Classroom instruction plus hands-on training
- A written theory test and practical evaluation are required to earn certification.
