Hi, welcome! Music has been treasured and taught for centuries because of its beauty and ability to connect with people and our emotions. We all have experienced this when we listen to a song and feel like dancing, or a slow melodic song, which relaxes you. Even as the birds sing, they give you a peacefulness that cannot be duplicated. Music is a joy that is always well worth the effort.
I have enjoyed teaching Violin and Piano for over 11 years. It's been a passion of mine to develop different techniques for each age group and level. This has resulted in many students who struggled with school in the past, to have more focus and ability to learn. Science has shown that studying music, even if you're not good at it, increases your IQ. Anyone can benefit by the discipline of studying an instrument.
One technic is having each student learn a fun song. This is music they know and like. It motivates them to learn incredibly hard tasks for their level, simply because they like the song. Children have found joy singing and playing music that they recognize.
