On April 2, the Williston Korner Lions Club visited Missouri Ridge to provide free vision screenings for more than 100 students in grades 1–5. 👁️✨

These screenings help identify potential vision concerns early, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and other eye health needs. Early detection plays an important role in supporting student learning, development, and overall well-being💚

The screenings were quick, comfortable, and completed in just one hour using specialized mobile equipment. Families were notified if any concerns were identified and encouraged to follow up with an eye care professional if needed. Assistance is also available for families who may need support with follow-up appointments or glasses.

The photo features second-grade students with Lions Club volunteers. This event was organized and led by Ms. Mortenson and Miss Mandy. 🤓
