The Fire Department has completed its check of Missouri Ridge and cleared the building for re-entry following today’s microwave fire involving popcorn in the lunchroom.

Students and staff have safely returned to the building, and the school day is continuing as normal.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we followed our safety procedures.

Students and staff have evacuated Missouri Ridge following a fire involving a microwave in the lunchroom. The microwave has been removed from the building, and everyone is safely outside.

The Williston Fire Department is on the way to check the building and determine when it is safe for students and staff to return inside.

We will provide another update once the building has been cleared for re-entry.

Hey Hawk Parents!

The Ridge is connecting with the Lions Club once again to provide FREE vision screenings for students in 1st–5th grade! Last year we screened over 100 STUDENTS! We would love to have even more consent forms returned this year.

Kindergarten students are not included because they already received a vision screening during kindergarten screening before the school year began.

Consent forms were sent home this week and will continue to be sent home weekly each Monday through September 14. Please remember to check backpacks!

If you would like your child to participate, please complete the consent form and send it back to school with your student ASAP.

All forms must be returned by Monday, September 14.
