☁️ Walking into science with wonder! 🌈

Ms. Kirkham’s and Ms. Carbajal’s classes put their scientific thinking to work by making predictions before beginning the Walking Rainbow experiment! Ms. Kirkham’s class then started the experiment and will observe how the colorful water “walks” from cup to cup. 🧪🔬

We can’t wait to see if their predictions are correct! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

🍎🥪 Lunch Time at WES! ❤️🖤

Mr. Hancock’s class stopped by the cafeteria today to pick up their fabulous school lunches from our amazing cafeteria crew! From serving up meals to greeting our Little Red Devils each day, these ladies work hard to make sure our students are fed and ready to learn. ❤️

And judging by those smiles, lunch time is definitely a pretty great part of the school day! 😋👏🏼

📸 We were following Mr. Hancock’s class…but a few other Little Red Devils may have spotted the camera and slipped into the pictures along the way. 😂❤️ We certainly weren’t going to turn down those smiles!

📚✨ Putting Events in Order in Ms. Escudero’s Class!

Ms. Escudero’s students are continuing their work with text structure and chronological order in ELA! ❤️📖

Working in small groups, students received cards featuring events from Gary the Dreamer—but there was a catch: the events were all out of order! 🤔

Students worked together to discuss details from the story, determine what happened first, next, and last, and then glue the events in the correct sequence. This hands-on activity gave students a fun way to strengthen their understanding of chronological order while practicing communication, problem-solving, and teamwork! 👏🏼

🎉 WAY TO GO, LITTLE RED DEVILS! ❤️🖤

WES dismisses at 1:55 PM, and today our car line was completely finished by 2:15 PM! 🙌 That’s some awesome teamwork from our families and staff!

🚗 Just a reminder: Students who have not been picked up from the car line by 2:15 PM will need to be picked up in the front office. Please bring your ID or car tag with you.
