Get ready to run, jump, and play! Designed for young athletes ages 3-4, this fun-filled program introduces little ones to a variety of sports through age-appropriate games and activities. It’s a great way for kids to stay active, build confidence, and explore the fundamentals in a supportive, non-competitive environment.

🏆 Congratulations to our Williston baseball teams on a fantastic weekend on the diamond!

Our 10U Team captured the championship at the Williston Tournament this past weekend, while our 9AAA Team also brought home a tournament win in Minot.

👏 Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, and families on a weekend full of hard work, great baseball, and championship moments. Way to go!

☀️ Meet Our 2026 Summer Interns!
June 20 is officially the first day of summer, making it the perfect time to introduce our 2026 Summer Interns!

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐚 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩
Jayla was born and raised in Williston, North Dakota, and recently finished her freshman year at the University of North Dakota, where she is studying Pre-Nursing. This is Jayla’s third summer with Kid’s Camp, but her first summer serving as an intern.

She is excited to take on a larger role within Kid’s Camp, help plan activities, and be part of the fun all summer long. A fun fact about Jayla is that she competed in dance for 14 years!

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐱 𝐃𝐚𝐡𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐠, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧
Knox was born and raised right here in Williston, North Dakota, and is heading into his senior year at Williston High School. He stays active in the community and keeps busy with hockey, golf, and motocross.

This summer, Knox will be gaining hands-on experience in marketing, events, photography, social media, and all things Williston Parks & Rec. We’re excited to have his creativity, energy, and local pride on the WPRD team.

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧
James was born and raised in Williston and grew up participating in many of the parks and recreation programs he now gets to help support. As a student-athlete at Gonzaga University, James earned degrees in Sports Management and Business Administration while competing in cross country and track for the Zags.

This summer, James is looking forward to learning more about sports and recreation while helping provide a great experience for everyone involved in our programs. He plans to pursue his MBA with the goal of one day supporting student-athletes as an Athletic Director.

Our Kids Camp crew has been having an amazing summer so far! ☀️

Last week, participants celebrated Holidaze Week, enjoying activities inspired by holidays from throughout the year. This week, we're heading into the Animal Kingdom, where kids will explore the wild side of summer through animal-themed games, crafts, and adventures.

🎉 Coming up next week is Wild Card Week, where anything can happen and every day brings a new surprise!

Wild Card Week (June 22-26) will also be our final week of camp before a short week long summer break. Kids Camp will return on July 6 for even more fun and adventures!
