Our staff had a little extra fun today celebrating Hawaiian Shirt Day! We broke out the Hawaiian shirts, added some leis, and of course had to have some Hawaiian Punch! 🌺

Nothing like a little fun and school spirit to wrap up the week with this amazing crew! 💜

🎉 That’s a wrap on our first week of school! 🎉

What an AMAZING first week at Parmley! 💜 We have loved welcoming our students back, seeing the excitement in our classrooms, and watching our students and teachers settle into a great start to the year.

In just a few short days, we have already seen so much learning, relationship building, and excitement happening across our campus. We cannot wait to see how much our students learn, grow, and accomplish this year!

Thank you to our incredible staff and families for helping us kick off the year on such a positive note. Week one is officially in the books, and we are just getting started! 💜🐾

💜 Tomorrow is the big day, Parmley Families! 💜

Tonight, our hallways are quiet. The bulletin boards are ready, classrooms are waiting, and everything is set for the most important part of our school… our kids! 🥹💜

As backpacks are packed, outfits are picked out, and our kiddos head to bed tonight, I know there are lots of emotions in homes across our Parmley community. Excitement, butterflies, maybe a few nerves, and probably some parents wondering how summer went by so quickly!

We are SO ready to fill these quiet halls with smiles, laughter, learning, and all the energy our Wildcats bring with them. Whether tomorrow is your child’s very first day at Parmley or they already know these halls well, we want them to know they belong here and we are so happy they are part of our Parmley family.

A few reminders for tomorrow:
💜 Doors open at 7:15 a.m.
💜 School begins at 8:00 a.m.
💜 Dismissal is at 3:30 p.m.
💜 Families walking their kiddos in tomorrow morning should enter through the back of the building.
💜 Please make sure your child’s teacher knows exactly how your child will be getting home.

Give those kiddos an extra hug tonight and get some rest. Tomorrow, these quiet halls come alive again, and we cannot wait! 💜

🎉 Tonight's the Night! 🎉

We can't wait to welcome our Wildkat families to Meet the Teacher tonight from 5:30-7:00 PM!

Here's what you can expect:
📚 Meet your teacher and visit your classroom.
🎒 Bring your school supplies and get settled for the first day.
🏫 Get familiar with the campus and find important locations.
🚌 Visit with Transportation, Child Nutrition, our school nurse, and other departments to get your questions answered.
🍧 Jessica Anne's Gelati Co. will be on campus with delicious treats available for purchase.
👕 Our official "Game On: Building Champions" t-shirts will be available for purchase for just $13 while supplies last. If we sell out, order forms will be available!

🚗 Please park in the back parking lot to help with traffic flow.

📱 All of our teachers will be sending a ClassDojo invitation today. This may be the first way you find out who your child's teacher is, so be on the lookout and be sure to accept the invitation so you're ready to stay connected throughout the school year.

If you haven't received your ClassDojo invitation before you arrive, don't worry! We'll have class lists available to help you find your student's teacher and classroom.

If you need assistance before Meet the Teacher begins, or if you're unable to connect to ClassDojo and would like to know your child's teacher, please don't hesitate to contact our front office. We're happy to help!

📢 Attention, Parmley Families!

It's time to complete your student's Annual Forms! This quick process helps us make sure we have the most up-to-date information for your family before the school year begins.

🚌 To ensure there is no delay in routing students for transportation, all Annual Forms must be completed by Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

📧 You should have received an email from PowerSchool on July 9 containing your student's unique SnapCode.

☎️ Can't find it? Please contact our campus registrar, Mrs. Brannon, at 936-856-1235, and she'll be happy to help.

What a great evening at Popsicles with the Principal! 💜💛

Thank you to all of the families who came out to spend time with us. We had an amazing turnout and loved seeing familiar faces, meeting new Wildkat families, and watching our students reconnect with friends before the school year begins.

It was such a fun way to kick off the year, and we are so grateful for a community that continues to show up and support our campus. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back soon. It’s going to be a fantastic year at Parmley!

🍦 Popsicles with the Principals is almost here! 💜

Join us for a fun afternoon of connection, community, and cool treats before the school year begins! This is a great opportunity for our Wildkat families to reconnect with familiar friends, make new ones, and meet Mrs. Wilkins and Mrs. Stanfield.

We'll have popsicles, smiles, and plenty of time to visit before another amazing year at Parmley begins!

We can't wait to meet our newest kindergarten students and their families at our Kindergarten Play Date!

Join us on Saturday, August 1, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. for a fun morning where you'll have the chance to:
📚 Tour the school
👩‍🏫 Meet our Kindergarten team and ask questions
🛝 Play on the playground
🍧 Enjoy popsicles and pick up a goodie bag!

This is a great opportunity for your child to become familiar with Parmley, meet new friends, and start feeling excited about kindergarten!
