Four years ago, I lost my Mimi. She was one of the most important women in my life, and I owe so much to her for making this business possible. She was an incredible artist and she taught me many techniques. As a child, we would stay up late in her studio painting together. She passed down her God-given talent, and that gift became the foundation of the work I do today. She was a night owl, and I guess she passed that trait on to me too. I often find myself most content working on preservation pieces late into the night. In this quiet, I feel closest to her. 💜
