Hello world! We have been busy. Last week, we had the pleasure of being invited to be part of the group of delegates that acknowledged the Draft Green Paper and ripped it to shreds and put it back together again. It was an amazing experience. I love how the government of South Africa has acknowledged the social economy and is looking for ways to nurture and grow it and it was an honour to be there discussing how best we can make that happen together. This was only the beginning and the conversation has to continue. Special thanks to Minister Patel his team, Minister Zulu and her team & Guy Ryder (Director General of the ILO) and his team, Government of Flanders, The IDC and all the AMAZING delegates for being a shining example to the rest of Africa.
