WECC participated in the annual Back to School Expo, this year in honor of its founder, the late Maria T. Nazario. 🕊️❤️

As Windham Public Schools gets ready to welcome all staff on Monday, August 24th our Early Head Start Staff is ahead of the game! They began their professional development on Thursday, August 20th at EASTCONN. They are working hard to ensure we provide exceptional care and developmentally appropriate programming for our youngest students.

Mientras las Escuelas Públicas de Windham se preparan para recibir a todo el personal el lunes 24 de agosto, ¡el equipo de Early Head Start lleva la delantera! Comenzaron su desarrollo profesional el jueves 20 de agosto en EASTCONN. Están trabajando arduamente para garantizar que brindemos una atención excepcional y programas adecuados al nivel de desarrollo de nuestros alumnos más pequeños.

This is a reminder that our Early Head Start Infant/Toddler program will be closed for professional development for our staff on Thursday, August 20 through Wednesday, August 26th. All students in the EHS Infant/Toddler program can return on Thursday, August 27th for their regular scheduled programming.

Les recordamos que nuestro programa Early Head Start para bebés y niños pequeños permanecerá cerrado desde el jueves 20 de agosto hasta el miércoles 26 de agosto debido a actividades de desarrollo profesional para nuestro personal. Todos los alumnos del programa EHS para bebés y niños pequeños podrán regresar el jueves 27 de agosto para reanudar sus actividades habituales.

The water pipe issue has been fixed at Windham High School. We will be open for our EHS Infant/Toddler program at 7am. Our offices and EHS classrooms will be open tomorrow, Tuesday 8/11/26. Thank you for your support!

Se ha solucionado el problema de la tubería de agua en Windham High School. Abriremos a las 7:00 a. m. para nuestro programa EHS para bebés y niños pequeños. Nuestras oficinas y las aulas de EHS estarán abiertas mañana, martes 11 de agosto de 2026. ¡Gracias por su apoyo!

Due to a water pipe burst at Windham High School the WECC Infant/Toddler program has to close today Monday, August 10th. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. We will update families this evening regarding any changes for tomorrow. There is no access to the school building today.

Debido a la rotura de una tubería de agua en Windham High School, el programa para bebés y niños pequeños del WECC debe cerrar hoy. Lamentamos los inconvenientes que esto pueda ocasionar. Come join us on Thursday, August 6th from 10:00-11:00am to play on our WECC playground with Mrs. Bumgardner! Current PreK students and newly accepted students are invited to come and play. Popsicle treats will be provided!
