Eastern CT State University- Educational & Clinical Experiences The Office of Educational & Clinical Experiences places teacher candidates in clinical sites over four successive semesters.

EARLY CHILDHOOD CANDIDATES!: There is a paid childcare opportunity at an upcoming community event on November 5, from 6:15pm - 8:45pm at the Voices of Justice: Housing Rights and Community Listening Session at Buchanan Auditorium in the Mansfield Public Library, in partnership with the Connecticut Fair Housing Center. This is a great opportunity to provide onsite childcare so that parents and caregivers don’t have to choose between attending an important community conversation and caring for their children. Early Childhood and Elementary Teacher Candidates: There is the opportunity of a long-term substitute position that will last the entire school year with two different head teaching positions at Preston Veteran Memorial School in Preston, CT.

The position includes:
-long-term position in 3rd grade from the start of the year until the end of November.
Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 26
-Building sub from when she comes back until mid-January
-Long-term position from mid-January until mid- to end of May as a preschool teacher
-Opportunity to complete the remainder of the year as the building sub

The school is looking for someone who has their undergraduate degree in education and is either looking for something while they complete their master's degree or has not yet accepted a position for this upcoming school year.
