Community learning doesn't stop at graduation, and it doesn't have to happen in a traditional classroom!

At EASTCONN, we're proud to offer engaging opportunities for learners of all ages.

We offer adult enrichment classes, in which you can explore new interests, develop practical skills, and connect with others through a variety of hands-on workshops and educational experiences.

We’re also offering Homeschool STEM courses, which give your child the opportunity to learn by doing. Our STEM programs are designed to spark curiosity through interactive and hands-on activities that let students explore science, technology, engineering, and math in exciting real-world ways.

This past spring, students in our NCCER construction class at Plainfield High School built this cabinet from the ground up! Their hard work, teamwork, and newly developed skills are on full display, showing what can be accomplished with hands-on instruction and dedication.

Whether you're looking to learn practical skills, explore a new career path, or break into the construction industry, this class is a great place to start!

EASTCONN is looking for summer worksites for our Youth Employment Program! Give back to the community and mentor a local youth (ages 14-24) all while getting an extra set of hands around your business at ZERO cost to you.

On June 10, EASTCONN proudly celebrated the accomplishments of our graduates, including our NCCER Core Construction students!

Our NCCER graduates crossed the stage to receive their NCCER Core Construction Certificate, OSHA 10 Certification, and a professional toolkit generously provided through the support of the Lowe's Foundation. These credentials represent the hard work and dedication they've shown as they prepare for careers in the skilled trades.

We were also honored to welcome Brian Cardello, District Pro & Services Support Manager for Lowe's, who joined us for the celebration and was presented with the Friends of Adult Education Award in recognition of his support for our students and workforce development programs.

Congratulations to all of our graduates—we can't wait to see what you accomplish next!

Alvaro Perez has been studying English in EASTCONN’s Adult Education program since 2024 and has been an active participant in our Family Literacy Program. 📚💛

Through his perseverance, dedication, and commitment, Alvaro earned induction into our Honor Society during last year’s Graduation Ceremony — an incredible achievement! 🎓👏
