❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day, CCA Alumni! ❤️
This photo comes straight from the 1996 yearbook (30 years ago!), where the page was titled “Love Is in the Air.” How fitting for today.
Recognize this group surrounding Mr. Mark Staebell? We’re pretty sure a few of you do!
Moments like these remind us how special the CCA community has always been. No matter the year, the friendships, laughter, and memories stay with us!

These classic manger and angel scenes from our 1989 yearbook take us back to a time when Christmas programs, school traditions, and a whole lot of joy filled the halls at Christian Central Academy. From familiar faces and unforgettable hairstyles to moments that still make us smile, these photos capture more than a season. They capture a shared story.
For decades, the true meaning of Christmas has been celebrated at CCA. Luke 2 was being recited by our youngest voices years before today’s students took the stage, faithfully passing on the story of Christ’s birth from one generation to the next. Styles may change, but the heart of Christmas at CCA has remained the same.
Whether these photos bring back memories, spark laughter, or simply remind you of your time here, we hope they point you back to the joy, hope, and truth found in Jesus. From our CCA family to yours, Merry Christmas. ❤️🎄✨

Homecoming at CCA has always been more than a weekend of events, it’s a time when memories resurface and traditions remind us of the years we shared together.
Looking back at these photos from 1998, we’re reminded of the bike parade and float parade that have brought smiles and school spirit across generations. Many of you walked, pedaled, or built floats alongside your classmates, and now those same traditions are still being carried on by today’s Crusaders.
This past weekend brought back that same sense of nostalgia and connection. It’s a reminder that no matter where life has taken us, we are still part of the CCA family and the Godly Community that shaped us. 💙

We’d love to hear from you! what’s your favorite Homecoming memory? Share it with us and help keep the story of CCA alive for the next generation!

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Pastor Deone Drake, a beloved member of The Chapel family and a cherished part of the Christian Central Academy community. Pastor Deone was called home to be with the Lord, leaving behind an incredible legacy of faith, service, and love.
Pastor Deone’s connection to CCA spans throughout many decades and many roles. He taught Bible and math from 1984 to 2002, and then again from 1998 to 1999. He returned to CCA to teach Bible from 2012 to 2015 and served as the Bible Department Chair during the 2017-2018 school year. Pastor Deone also taught during our Spiritual Emphasis Weeks and spoke at numerous chapel services, Baccalaureate Services, and Graduation Ceremonies, consistently guiding students in their faith. His legacy is intricately woven into the fabric of CCA, impacting countless students over the years.
Many alumni from across the generations have shared how Pastor Drake’s mentorship left an indelible mark on their lives. His faithfulness, wisdom, and love for students have touched so many, and his presence will be sorely missed.
As we mourn his passing, we ask for prayers for his family, that they may experience the sufficiency of God’s grace during this time of loss. Though Pastor Deone is no longer with us, his legacy will continue to inspire and guide those whose lives he impacted.
We honor Pastor Deone Drake for his years of faithful service to God, to CCA, and to the countless students whose lives he shaped. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

As alumni of Christian Central Academy, we know firsthand the lasting impact a Christ-centered teacher can have. Whether it was a word of encouragement, a moment of prayer, or a lesson that stuck with us long after graduation—our teachers shaped not just our education, but our faith and character.
Over the past 75+ years, CCA has been blessed with faithful educators who have poured into generations of students—instilling truth, modeling grace, and walking alongside us with unwavering dedication.
To the teachers who once stood at the front of our classrooms: thank you. You helped lay the foundation we continue to build our lives on today.
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” – Luke 2:52
