We had a great class this morning about the Potter and the Clay!🏺
Here a brief snapshot of some of the applications and Biblical principles we covered during Sunday School.
Along with pictures of the clay masterpieces the students made.

In Book of Jeremiah 18, God emphasizes His right to reshape people or nations based on their response.
In Romans 9, Paul emphasizes God’s authority and sovereignty as Creator.
🧠 Key Similarities
God = the Potter
People = the Clay
God has the right to shape, remake, or repurpose.
⚖️ Important Difference in Emphasis
Jeremiah 18 → Focus on repentance and change
(If people turn, God reshapes their outcome.)
Romans 9 → Focus on God’s sovereign authority
(God has the ultimate right over His creation.)
✨ Big Picture Truth
Together, these passages show both sides:
God is sovereign (He is in control).
God is also responsive to repentance (He works with willing hearts).
