Starlight Stage Company 2013

Starlight Stage Company 2013 It is hard work, but very rewarding. Our aim is for each student to learn these facts and have a good time at Starlight.

Starlight Stage Company (ages 12 - 18) and Junior Starlight (ages 8 - 11) are nonresidential, half-day theatre programs, operating five days per week for a five week period from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Although some Starlight alumni go on to seek degrees and careers in the theatre, our goal is not to train actors and technicians, but to instill a lifelong love and respect for the arts that combine to create theatre. We produce full-length plays for the general public.

Starlight is all set to open one week from today with Roald Dahl's "The Witches" at the First Congregational Church - 906 Main Street in Williamstown, MA. Curtain at 8PM. Tickets - Adult $8
Children $5 available at the door. The show runs July 18 -29 & 20.
The following week - July 25 -26 & 27 Starlight presents George Batson's "House on the Cliff" Curtain at 8PM. This is Starlight's 38th season and features some young actors whose parents acted at Starlight in bygone years. Come and see us. Information @

"The Witches" is directed by Brandon S. Burns, and "House on the Cliff" is directed by Robert Y. Burns. Tristan R. Burns is the Technical Director.

Starlight Stage Company will open its 38th season on June 24. This summer we plan to produce two plays during the final two weekends of July. Now open for registration. Call 413-458-4246 for more information. Program runs 8:30 - 12:30 monday thru friday June 24 - July 28.

We just received a gift from Michael Voorhis. He sent us an original (and the only know copy) of the program for "Dark of the Moon" (1978) He had saved it all these years. He was and is a fan of the artwork of Hugh Dignon who did the artwork for the program. We have had it framed and will display it with the original first season program of "Frankenstein" during our performances this summer.
