Over the past year, our Monroe First board members have worked to identify ways to reduce costs, improve services, and make sure taxpayer dollars are being used wisely.
Under Monroe Kids First leadership, the Board of Education issued RFPs for 7 professional services, resulting in 7 new professionals being awarded contracts at significant cost savings to Monroe taxpayers. This was an openly competitive process that had not been done for many years.
This is the kind of work that happens behind the scenes, reviewing contracts, challenging old practices, and looking for opportunities to save money while maintaining or improving services.

Sheridan, Levaski & DโAndrea are running to continue the progress Monroe Kids First has made. They are committed to bringing the same focus on fiscal responsibility, transparency, competitive bidding, and accountability to the Board of Education.
