🎓 WHS GRADUATION REMINDERS FOR GRADUATES & GUESTS 🎓

The big day is almost here! Please review these important reminders to help everything run smoothly. Let’s make this a memorable and dignified celebration for the Class of 2026! 🎉

🎟️ 1. Graduation Tickets

Distribution: TOMORROW, Wednesday morning right after graduation practice.
Important: All fines and outstanding obligations must be paid before your tickets can be issued.

🚫 2. Guest Guidelines & Restrictions

Not Allowed: Air horns, balloons, and umbrellas are strictly prohibited at the ceremony.

Security: Personnel will be at the entrance enforcing these restrictions, so please leave these items at home or in your vehicle.

🛺 3. Golf Cart Assistance

Availability: Golf carts will be available to help transport guests to the stands or track *before* the ceremony begins.

Cutoff Time: Service ends as soon as the ceremony starts. If you or your guests need assistance, please arrive early!

💻 4. Graduation Livestream

* Can't make it in person? A live stream will be available!
* Access the link RIGHT HERE on graduation day.

👗5. Graduate Dress Code

Graduation is a dignified ceremony. Graduates are expected to dress appropriately.

What TO Wear: Dress pants, shirts with ties, collared shirts, blouses, dresses, or skirts.
What NOT to Wear: Shorts, jeans, sweatpants, or sneakers.

Gown Rules: Nothing may be worn on the outside of the graduation gown except school-issued cords or stoles. Purses, coats, sashes, boas, and outside stoles/cords are **not** permitted.

⏱️ 6. Graduate Arrival Info

Time: Arrive at school by 1:30 p.m.
Parking: Park in your usual spot in the gym lot.
Entrance: Enter the building through the H-Wing doors

Please be advised that George Ormsby Memorial Stadium (the WHS football field) will be closed to public use beginning today through Thursday, June 18, 2026, as Monroe Township Public Schools hosts student promotion and graduation ceremonies.

We appreciate our community's cooperation and understanding as we celebrate these meaningful achievements with our students and their families. Thank you for helping us make these events memorable for the Class of 2026 and your continued support of Monroe Township Public Schools.

Early this morning, Williamstown High School’s graduating seniors were honored during our annual Senior Clap Out, a tradition that reflects the pride and spirit we share across Monroe Township Public Schools.

Dressed in their cap and gowns, the seniors made their way around the track and were welcomed with cheers, applause, and words of encouragement as they passed through a crowd of proud 5th through 8th grade students, who gathered to celebrate this important milestone.

This special event is a meaningful reminder of what makes Monroe so strong: a community that celebrates hard work, honors achievement, and supports our students every step of the way. As our seniors approached the finish line of their K-12 journey, they were surrounded by the energy, admiration, and respect of the younger Braves who look up to them and the staff who have watched them grow over the years.

Your presence and support helped make the Senior Clap Out a true reflection of the care and pride that define our schools. Yesterday, Holly Glen was filled with energy, learning, and school spirit as our third grade students proudly presented their “Regions of the United States” show in the cafetorium. Throughout the program, students brought their learning to life through lively songs, thoughtful student speeches, and moments of confidence and creativity that gave families a wonderful look at all they have been studying this year.
From coast to coast across the United States, students celebrated the many unique regions of our country through music and performance, opening the show with “New York, New York” and closing with a spirited ode to Hollywood. It was a joyful and engaging performance that highlighted not only what our students know, but also the teamwork, dedication, and enthusiasm they brought to preparing for this special event.
Families joined in the celebration to cheer on their children and share in the memories, making the day even more meaningful for everyone in attendance. We are so proud of our Holly Glen third graders for the hard work and commitment they showed in putting together such a fun and educational showcase.
Thank you to our third grade teachers, school staff, and administrators for making yesterday’s show such a success. We at Monroe are proud to celebrate experiences like this across our district—opportunities that inspire learning, build confidence, and create lasting memories for our students and families.

Today, Oak Knoll Elementary proudly celebrated our 4th grade students during their Farewell Ceremony at the Williamstown Middle School auditorium. This special milestone gave us the opportunity to recognize the hard work, growth, and many accomplishments our students have achieved throughout their elementary school journey.

We are so proud of our students for the kindness, perseverance, curiosity, and school spirit they have shown each day at Oak Knoll. Their success is a reflection of their efforts, the dedication of our staff, and the strong partnership of our families and community.

To our Oak Knoll families, thank you for your continued support and for sharing in this meaningful celebration. We wish our little Braves the very best of luck as they move on to the next chapter of their educational journey—entering Williamstown Middle School as fifth graders! Congratulations on your success, and we at Monroe cannot wait to see all that lies ahead in each of your futures.

The Williamstown High School Athletic Department proudly hosted its first ever Student-Athlete Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, June 10, honoring 29 student-athletes who will continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. The special event brought together coaches, families, staff members and administrators to celebrate the hard work and dedication of these outstanding students. During the ceremony, each student-athlete shared the sport they will be competing in, the college or university they will attend, their favorite high school athletic memory and the individuals who helped them reach this milestone. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed light refreshments while celebrating the accomplishments of the student-athletes and capturing the occasion with plenty of photos and smiling faces.

Congratulations to all 29 student-athletes on this incredible achievement! The Williamstown High School Athletic Department wishes each of them continued success as they begin the next chapter of their academic and athletic journeys!
