👀 Communication Is More Than Words!

Our 7th graders are learning the essentials of good communication, and this lesson focused on the importance of body language.

Students practiced being engaged listeners while their classmates shared about themselves—using eye contact, appropriate facial expressions, good posture, and other nonverbal cues to show interest and respect.

Learning to communicate well also means learning to listen well! These are valuable skills our students can carry into the classroom, relationships, and future careers. 💬

What better way to begin a new school year than together in worship? 🙌💜💛

On our first day, our students and staff came together to worship the Lord and set the tone for the year ahead. Before the lessons, activities, practices, and busy schedules, we took time to remember what matters most—keeping Jesus at the center of all we do.

Our prayer for this school year is that God will work in the hearts and lives of our students as we learn, grow, serve, and worship together.

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” — Psalm 150:6

💜💛 Starting a New WCCS Tradition! 💛💜

Our Student Council members are kicking off a new tradition by greeting our elementary students as they arrive at school! 🐾

What a great way for our older students to lead by example—welcoming our younger Wildcats with smiles, encouragement, and school spirit as they begin their day.

We love seeing our students build connections across grade levels and help make WCCS a place where every student feels welcomed and valued.
