Also reminder : as noted back in July of my October paid vacation time as it is approaching. My home will be closed October 5-9. Please make note this is my paid vacation and you should have back up for your child.

Just a friendly reminder my home will be closed Friday September 4 and Monday September 7 for Labor Day weekend per holiday calendar.

Please make note of these dates as I will not be home should you forget.

Did you know .....

Between January and August this year
in MICHIGAN ALONE
822 childcare centers have closed permanently.
140 home child cares have closed permanently.
32 group child cares have closed permanently .
Expect this number to rise !

Only 55% of the licensed 8367 centers, group homes, family homes , out of school programs and tribal centers are currently open in Michigan .

If you are having trouble finding care , know of someone who is having trouble or want to switch care and can't find a place to take your child this is why .

We have been very lucky to care for the families we have had over the years here at Just Kidz Child Care ❤️

Just a few reminders.

I understand things are hectic right now and things are not the norm for most of us.

I respect early drop offs and I am very respectful of pick ups past contracted hours if I know ahead of schedule.

With this I expect the same respect in return. This job doesn’t always give me the convenience of clocking out early to take care of my health needs. I do my best to try and get late appointments so that it doesn’t inconvenience as much for all of you. I need my days off or early pick ups to be respected and placed on your calendar so that I am able to attend appointments.

I unfortunately need to add a policy into my contract regarding this.

⁃ Early pick ups per provider will be charged a late fee if you are past pick up time. The fee will be 1.00 per minute past posted pick up time.
⁃ If I am charged a no show fee due to being late or missing appointment parent will be responsible for paying fee.
Unfortunately I was charged a hefty fee that put a hardship on not only myself but my family this past Friday that I had to pay before I was able to be seen.

I need to be able to ensure that I myself am healthy so that I can give your child the best care.

Any and all dates will be posted on my business page along with a verbal reminder. Please mark any and all dates on your calendars.

I appreciate your continued support through these times. Your support does not go in noticed.
