Our senior Welding students are hard at work preparing for their AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification! 🔥🧑‍🏭

As they practice their welding skills, students are also learning the industry standards and requirements that help ensure structural welds are safe, strong, and completed correctly.

Another step toward becoming skilled, career-ready welding professionals! 👏

🚗 LAST CALL for First-Semester Driver/Rider Permits!

Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25, is the last scheduled day for first-semester students to receive their ACTC Driver/Rider Permit.

If you plan to drive to ACTC or ride with another student, be sure you have completed all permit requirements:

Parent Contact & Permission Form
Class fees + $10 Driver/Rider Permit fee
Alive at 25 (for student drivers)
100% on the ACTC permit/parking safety quiz

⚠️ Please note: We will begin checking for permits on Wednesday. After Tuesday, permits will only be issued on an as-needed basis.

Students in our Barbering program are building hands-on skills as they learn hair highlighting techniques and gain experience that prepares them for successful careers in the barbering industry. ✂️💈

Beginning Tuesday, September 8, ACTC will provide after-school transportation from our four home high schools to ACTC on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for students participating in after-school activities. 🚌

Pickup Locations:
Belton-Honea Path High School — Bus Loop
Palmetto High School — Bus Loop
Powdersville High School — Bus Loop
Wren High School — Student Parking Lot

Any ACTC student who needs to return to ACTC for an after-school activity may use the bus.

⚠️ Please note: Transportation is provided to ACTC only. Students must arrange their own transportation home following their activity.
