The curriculum is management oriented, preparing graduates for the widest range of available equine jobs; areas of specialization may be pursued during the internship. Farm management, breeding, nutrition, selection/judging, and health are covered in detail; training, teaching, and riding are

We can’t wait to welcome you back for another great semester!

Your Equine instructors will be around all week, so feel free to stop by if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to say hello. We’re happy to help however we can as you get ready for classes.

You’re also welcome to drop off your tack boxes anytime this week to get a head start on move-in.

🐴 **Please join us in welcoming Ashley Harris to her new role as Equine Instructor at Martin Community College!** 🎉

Ashley is certainly no stranger to our MCC Equine Program. Her journey with us began many years ago as a child attending one of our riding summer camps, and from those early days, she has continued to be a true friend and supporter of the program.

Before joining us in her new role as a full-time instructor, Ashley demonstrated tremendous dedication to MCC as an Equine student and, for years, as an adjunct instructor. She has consistently gone above and beyond to support our students, horses, and program, and we are so excited to welcome her into this new chapter of her journey with us!

Ashley is also an avid barrel racer, bringing her passion for the sport and extensive equine experience to our program. And in a fun full-circle connection, one of her competition horses, **Ed**, is a graduate of the MCC Equine Program! 🐎❤️

We are **beyond excited** to have Ashley officially join our team as a full-time Equine Instructor. We can't wait to see all the wonderful things she will bring to our students and our program!

**Welcome to the team, Ashley! We are so lucky to have you!** 🎓🐴
