So much fun learning has been taking place in Social Studies! Students completed their study of Central America with a Caribbean Food Project. They explored food from this region, wrote about it, and even enjoyed some delicious recipes brought in by students. Mrs. Riddle popped into one of the classes to talk about the culture and shared empañadas! Students also participated in a States Battle earlier this month. They were challenged to learn the capitals of all 50 states, and Mr. Garrison and Mr. Mitchell turned it into a friendly competition. Who says learning Geography can’t be fun?!?
