𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗖𝗦
Martin County Schools was excited to welcome Congressman Don Davis today for a Back-to-School visit to the MCS Innovation Campus, home of our Martin Innovative Early College and the district’s Career and Technical Education courses.
Congressman Davis began his visit with a sit-down discussion with Dr. Michelle White, Superintendent of Martin County Schools, focused on the progress being made across our district and the intentional work underway to ensure our students graduate ready for the workforce, college, military service, entrepreneurship, or whatever path they choose to pursue.
Joined by Dr. Amy Draper, MCS Career & Technical Education Director, and Adrienne Whitaker, MCS Career Development Coordinator, Congressman Davis toured the MCS Innovation Campus getting a firsthand look at some of the opportunities available to our students.
Along the way, he visited students learning and building career-ready skills in Health Science II, Animal Science I, and Welding II and fielded a few questions from students along the way.
District leaders appreciated the opportunity to share the tremendous work happening in Martin County Schools and to talk about our continued commitment to connecting classroom learning with the skills, experiences, credentials, and opportunities students need for life beyond graduation.
No matter where their path leads, we want every MCS student prepared to take that next step with confidence.
