The Williamsport Area High School Marching Millionaires welcomed the world to Williamsport last night with their performance in the Little League Grand Slam Parade!

We are in the final stages of prepping for our annual String Camp! July 27-30 at WAHS for students finishing grades 4th-7th. Students must reside in the Williamsport Area School District. Registration is $40 due on the first day of camp. More info in the registration link! If you haven't registered for camp yet, please do so ASAP! If you are uncertain if you have registered you would have received an email receipt. An email will be sent in the coming days with loads of information!

The Marching Millionaires had a great night at Bowman Field cheering on Crosscutters Baseball! 🏟️

After performing the National Anthem, they spent the night enjoying a beautiful night for baseball. ⚾️

For a post-concert project, the Andrew G. Curtin Intermediate orchestra students of the Williamsport Area School District took on an exciting challenge: learning both the music and the drill in just two weeks! While about 25% of the group had previously learned the piece earlier this year, the drill was brand new for everyone.

Music has a way of bringing people together and reminding us that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves. Moments like this are why we BELIEVE in music education!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Beth Darowish for virtually visiting WAMS and sharing the story behind "In a Quiet Place of Wonder." We are so excited to bring her vision to life at our concert on May 20th!

Congratulations to the Williamsport Area High School 9th Grade Concert Band on their performance today at the 2026 PMEA All State Conference!

Selection to perform at the PMEA All State Conference is a significant honor, as ensembles are chosen through a competitive application process and invited to perform for an audience of peers and leaders in music education.

Their performance was a testament to Williamsport Area School District’s ongoing commitment to excellence in music education for all students.

Congratulations to our 9th Grade Band members, as well as Mr. Bulgarelli, Mr. Fisher, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Smith, and the entire WASD Band program on this outstanding accomplishment!
