FUN! That’s what we learned today! We learned through play, laughter, exploration, and making memories together. Sometimes the best learning happens when kids are simply having fun! 🥰🎨🧸

We thought we were just playing today. Little did they know all these lessons could be so fun.

💧 Science: Cause and effect—what happens when they step on a water jet, cover a hole, or change the direction of water.

🧠 Problem-solving: Figuring out how to get water to spray, where to stand, and how to navigate different water features.

🔢 Math: Counting water jets, comparing big/small, more/less, measuring time, and recognizing patterns.

🗣️ Language: Learning words such as splash, spray, wet, dry, float, drip, fast, slow, cold, and warm.

🤝 Social-emotional skills: Sharing space, taking turns, following rules, communicating with friends, and managing excitement and frustration.

🏃 Gross-motor development: Running, jumping, balancing, squatting, reaching, and coordinating movements.

👀 Observation: Noticing where water comes from, where it goes, and how it changes when something blocks it.

The biggest lesson may be that learning doesn't always have to happen inside a classroom. A splash pad gives children opportunities to explore, ask questions, experiment, cooperate, and learn through play.

Bugs for Lunch 🐛📚

Another great day at the library, where imagination can come to life! Today’s Bugs for Lunch was such a fun adventure. We loved exploring the story, getting creative, and seeing our little imaginations take flight. What a wonderful way to make reading fun! 💕📖🐞

📚🐛 Bugs for Lunch! 🐛📚

Visiting our library is one of our favorite adventures each month! There is just something so special about opening a book and discovering that reading can take your imagination anywhere. 💕📖

Today, Ms. Tasha shared the cutest book, Bugs for Lunch! The kiddos then got to create their own favorite bugs they would like to have for lunch—Ms. Tasha even made some adorable bugs for their snack! 🐛

We are so thankful for our wonderful library and Ms. Tasha for making each visit so much fun and full of learning! We hope more families will take advantage of this amazing resource right here in our community. ❤️📚

🥔 Learning Is So Much Fun! 🥔

Learning can be so much fun when we get to learn through play! This week, Mr. Potato Head helped us discover all the different parts of our bodies and what we need them for. We had so much fun putting him together while learning along the way!

Our playdough activity was another favorite! We explored different body parts, found each one, and talked about the important job each part does to help us. 👀👂👃🖐️🦶

These kiddos are showing me that they are going to be quick learners! I love watching their little minds work, their excitement grow, and their confidence shine as they discover new things.

These kiddos are so much fun, and I have a feeling we are going to have an amazing year of learning together! ❤️

🐝 B has been Bee-wonderful! 🐝

This week we have been busy learning all about the letter Bb! We learned how important it is to bee kind and talked about whether we would bee happy or sad when something happens. We practiced writing our letter Bb and even built our names using bees! 🐝

One of the highlights of our week was meeting our first-ever beekeeper, Jack Hargan! Jack taught us all about bees, the important job they have, and how they make that delicious honey. We even got to taste honey and take home a special honey treat! 🍯

Our classroom has been buzzing with learning through sensory bins, hands-on activities, and lots of bee fun! 🐝

A HUGE thank you to Jack Hargan and Erin for sharing their knowledge and making our B week so sweet! 🍯💛

I think it’s safe to say… B has been Bee-utiful! 🐝✨

Our First Week ❤️

This week brought so many firsts for our students, parents, and teachers! Though a few tears were shed along the way, our first week was absolutely amazing, and I can’t wait to see where this fun-filled learning experience takes us.

This week we learned something we already knew—we are all special! ❤️

We hopped aboard the Friend Train and began learning each other’s names, along with something special that each friend likes. What a wonderful way to begin building friendships and learning about one another!

Thank you to all of our parents for entrusting your precious children to us. We promise to love them, encourage them, challenge them, and help them grow. We may return them at the end of the year inches taller, more confident, and a whole lot smarter! 😊

Here we come, preschool! Let the fun and learning begin! 🚂📚❤️
