πŸŽ‰ Class of '26 PTA Student Spotlight- Liberty
Liberty is a PTA student from Centre Hall, PA, and chose Penn College because it was close to home and because the small class size allowed for more individualized help from faculty members. Liberty served as treasurer of the PTA Club. Her favorite things about the PTA program were the family-like bond she created with classmates and faculty and the after-hours study sessions with classmates! Her fondest memory in the program was participating in the service-learning project, "Wildcat Kids in Motion On the Go." Her plans after graduation are to work as a PTA in an outpatient physical therapy clinic near her hometown.
We are of you, Liberty!

πŸŽ‰ Class of '26 PTA Student Spotlight- Jess
Jess is a PTA student from South Williamsport, PA, and chose Penn College for its small class size and hands-on experience. She says the smaller program size allowed one-on-one time with instructors and equipment, which personalized the experience. Jess served as Vice President of the PTA Club and coordinated the program's service learning project, "Wildcat Kids in Motion On the Go." Her favorite thing about the PTA program is the feeling of "found family." She remembers being told when entering the program that everyone becomes as close as family, and that she started to believe this around week two. She feels like she's known everyone her whole life and that the instructors care for students like their own kids, while her classmates truly became her siblings! Her fondest memory in the program was all the late-night study sessions in the lab. Although most of the time was spent within the same four walls going over the material, the study sessions never provided a dull moment. On top of course material, she recalls having endless microwaveable noodles, sleep deprivation, and laughter. Her plans after graduation are to work as a PTA in an acute care setting. She also hopes to earn her Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) credentials from the University of Tennessee.
We are of you, Jess!
