A picture is worth a thousand words! We began in 2018 as a Before and After School program with limited staff and limited resources, and now we are a full service child care learning center. In our early beginnings, we simply cared enough to do something about the problem of a not enough child care centers available in Lycoming County. However, just 5 years later, we’ve moved to a STAR 4 rating which is the highest rating in PA. We couldn’t have done it without our Quality Coach Claudia Hunold ELRC 7 and our mentors that assisted us in reaching for the stars literally. The staff that are pictured here have been primary contributors to the daily operations of caring for families, building strong administrative systems, ensuring financial integrity, and realizing the mission. Here at LIFE Child Care Learning Center, we live intentionally for eternity helping children and families to gain a sense of the long game. What we do today for the betterment of educating children, teaching coping skills, emotional management, fine motor and gross motor, and developing a strong sense of esteem from within, will translate into a better community tomorrow. Thanks to our board (not pictured here) and some other staff (Greg Lawrence, Beth Stackhouse, & Imani McGarvey) that made this transition possible. To God be the Glory!
