This morning, the program graduated 28 future radiologic technologists!! This was our largest graduating cohort since 2020. We are so excited to see where your careers take you.

Today is the DAY!! The Class of 2026 graduates! We are so excited to share our last graduation spotlight for Emma Kane, our Radiography Tutor for the past year.

Emma is from Weatherly, PA. She was a member of our Medical Imaging Club, and Vice President of our PA Sigma Tau of Lamda Nu.

"During my time in the program I made a lot of new friends and experienced new things. I plan on continuing my education after graduation by getting my bachelor's degree in Healthcare Leadership and Administration through Penn College while also getting a job at home to be close to my family and dog."

Students entering the Penn College Radiography (RD) program this fall, or 2nd year students who are not yet members, now is the time to apply for a sponsored ASRT student membership. Money from donations cover the student membership fee!! It is as simple as filling out a form!

Take the next step toward a successful career. The ASRT Foundation Sponsor a Student Grant offers free one-year ASRT Student memberships to eligible entry-level students in radiologic science programs.

This opportunity gives students access to career resources, educational tools and a professional network. In addition to the Student membership, recipients of this program will receive the option to be paired with a mentor so they can make the most of their membership!

Today we would like to introduce Nikki Lytle.

"I am from Danville, PA. I am a transfer student from Commonwealth University at Bloomsburg where I will be receiving my bachelors of science degree in medical imaging in addition to my associates degree from Penn College. My fondest memories from Penn College would include meeting my best friend Helene and learning hands-on experience in clinical!" Nikki will be starting her position as a radiologic technologist in the fall at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Nikki was the vice president of the medical imaging club as well as a member of Sigma Tau of Lambda Nu Honors Society. "I am looking forward to exploring other modalities in the future and continuing my experience in the medical imaging field."
We are excited to follow your journey as well! Your future is looking bright!

Graduation is Saturday, August 8, 2026 - we still have a few more students to celebrate! Today, we are focused on Athena Chacona from Towanda, PA. "I was a member of the Medical Imaging Club. Some of my favorite memories from the program include attending the PSRT Conference in Allentown and making lifelong friendships with an incredible group of classmates!" After graduation and passing her ARRT boards, Athena is excited to begin her career at Guthrie Corning Hospital. "I'll be working in X-ray and CT before cross-training in Mammography. I want to sincerely thank Penn College and everyone in the Radiology Department for making these past few years some of the best of my life."

Graduation is just 8 days away!! Our next Senior Spotlight is Cadence Wolfe. Cadence is from Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.

After college she looks forward to continuing her professional growth by working in the cardiac catheterization (Cath) lab after graduation.

Some of Cadences favorite college memories include going to lunch and dinner with friends and spending time shopping together afterward. During college, she has been actively involved in the Medical Imaging Club, which has allowed her to connect with classmates and further develop her passion for the field.

Outside of school, Cadence enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes is cheering on her younger brother as he races on Friday nights. She is excited for the future and is committed to making a positive impact in the healthcare field while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
