24-1/2 years with ISE. Wow! But today I step down and venture into retirement.

Hard to sum up my life's experience working with ISE and all of you host families and students.

Some of you families
have hosted more than once, (because I pestered you enough 😆), became my friends, came to my wedding with Duncan, came to the memorial service for Duncan, knew me when I adopted the kids or even BEFORE I had kids, or simply seen my kids grow up! I've seen your lives change and realize my life has changed through the years, as well.

I've enjoyed the exchange students I met along the way and I've loved you host families, I've met along the way, as well. You made my job a joy, fun, and doable, and even though I'm leaving ISE, I realize you guys are still there on the other side of retirement. What a cool concept!
