This Thanksgiving season, I have much to be grateful for!

Then, at Salubria, an 18th century house west of Fredericksburg, VA, I told the true story of an 18th century murder. The murderer lived in Williamsburg, and people who have stayed in his house say that it is haunted to this day.

For those of you who like to travel vicariously with me, sad news. I’ve decided that going from one school germ pool to the next would be a bad idea right now. All of my school gigs will be virtual again this year. This is great news for those of you who don’t live on my normal travel route, though, because I can perform anywhere!

I have ten different online programs that encompass many eras of American history, plus Greek Mythology. And my online programs rock, or so I’m told. A number of my regular customers have said that they are just as good as the live versions - just as interactive and fun - with the added benefit that, if students use individual devices, everyone is in the front row!

It is August 18, 1920, and the fate of women’s suffrage depends on Tennessee! 72 years earlier, Elizabeth Cady Stanton introduced the “Declaration of Sentiments” in Seneca Falls. The Stanton women are still fighting for the cause. Elizabeth’s daughter, Harriet Stanton Blatch, was raised in the movement, and has watched her adult daughter work for suffrage, too. Meet Harriot Stanton Blatch as she anxiously waits to learn whether Tennessee will ratify the 19th Amendment! She will take questions from the audience.
