Our Summer Adult Recital is officially in the books! 🎹✨

It was such a joy to see everyone this morning and celebrate the progress, dedication, and love of classical music that each student has shown throughout the year. I am incredibly proud of every performer for stepping outside their comfort zone and sharing beautiful classical repertoire with us.

A special congratulations to two of our adult students who participated in the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival this year and earned Superior ratings for their classical performances—an outstanding achievement! 👏🏆

Thank you to all of our students, families, and supporters for making this another wonderful year of music-making. I can’t wait to see what next season brings!

Another year of the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival is in the books! 🎹

I’m incredibly proud of our students. All 32 participants received the highest score — SUPERIOR RATING! What an amazing accomplishment.

Congratulations to every single one of you! Your dedication, preparation, and courage to perform truly paid off. All the hard work, long practice hours, and commitment to music brought wonderful results.

Special recognition this year:
• 4 students earned their 3rd consecutive Superior rating and will receive their first trophy from the National Federation of Music Clubs.
• 3 students achieved their 6th consecutive Superior rating and will receive their second trophy from the Federation.

These milestones take years of dedication and consistency — I couldn’t be more proud of each of you. Keep shining and growing! ✨

Our 23rd Annual Winter Recital ❄️🎹

February 19th was our second recital of the school year, and what a beautiful morning of music it was!

For many of our students, this recital is a wonderful opportunity to rehearse before the Federation Festival in March. And for those who are not participating, it’s another chance to shine on stage and grow in confidence.

Even though we missed quite a few students this time, we still held two full recitals with nearly an hour of music each — such an accomplishment!

It’s not easy for little ones to sit through the entire program, but they truly did their best. They were focused, respectful, and supportive of one another — and I’m so proud of them.

Our next recital will be in June — the most exciting event of the year! 🎉
Trophies, certificates, and of course… yummy treats at the end.

I can’t believe we are already halfway through the year!

Two of our students participated in the Bland Music Contest on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

We are beyond proud of them! 👏 Both received very high ratings for their performances — a beautiful reflection of their hard work, discipline, and musical growth.

They performed:
• “Waltz in C-sharp minor, Op. 64 No. 2” by Frédéric Chopin
• “Storm (Orage)” by Friedrich Burgmüller

Both pieces require strong finger articulation, controlled technique, expressive phrasing, and a melodically balanced sound. These are not easy selections — they demand maturity, dynamic control, and emotional storytelling.

Watching them step on stage with confidence and deliver such expressive performances was truly inspiring. Competitions are not just about ratings — they are about courage, preparation, and learning to perform under pressure.

So proud of their dedication and progress. The hard work always shows. 🎶✨

Fun little song — Frogs on Logs 🐸🎶

Originally written for right hand only, but I added some fun left-hand patterns and the kids love it!
It also teaches changing position in the right hand — you have to hop with finger #2 to move to the next spot. Learning through play is the best kind of learning 💚
