Celebrating National Principals Month!📚

October is National Principals Month, a time to recognize the dedicated leaders who guide, support, and inspire their school communities.

At Walsingham Academy, we are proud to celebrate two exceptional women: Mrs. Angie Baker, Upper School Director and Mrs. Heather Seltzer, Lower School Director!

From guiding our faculty and supporting families to encouraging students and fostering an environment where they can thrive, their leadership touches every part of the Walsingham experience. These two strong women lead with compassion, dedication, and a commitment to the values of Mercy.

Please join us in thanking them for the countless ways they make a difference in our Walsingham community each day!

This summer, Mrs. Ramiro traveled to Ireland for A Mercy Pilgrimage to Ireland to walk in Catherine McAuley's boots, a transformative experience sponsored by Mercy Education.

Walking in the footsteps of Catherine McAuley, Mrs. Ramiro visited the House of Mercy and other significant Mercy sites, deepening her understanding of Catherine’s life, leadership, and legacy. Through prayer, reflection, and shared experiences, including Irish dancing and singing, Mrs. Ramiro experienced both the roots of Catherine McAuley’s Mercy tradition and the rich culture of Ireland.

A Trojan Media student journalist sat down with Mrs. Ramiro to reflect on her pilgrimage and how Catherine McAuley’s vision of compassion, justice, and service continues to inspire our Mercy mission at Walsingham today.

It’s always a fun day when the fire trucks and an ambulance come to Walsingham! 🚒🚑

Our Mini Trojans had the best time exploring the vehicles, meeting the firefighters and first responders, and getting a visit from Sparky the Fire Dog! 🐾

A huge thank you to the Williamsburg Fire Department for taking time out of their day to continue this annual tradition and making it so special for our mini Trojans. They look forward to it every year and it’s easy to see and hear why!

We’re so grateful for all you do for our community!
