Before our Kid’s Morning Out preschoolers arrived for their first day, members of our United Methodist Church family filled the sidewalks with colorful pictures, encouraging words, and reminders of just how loved these little ones are!

The first day of school is here! 🍎✏️💛

To all of our Kid’s Morning Out children: you are loved, you are special, and we are SO excited you’re here! Whether today brings big smiles, a few nervous butterflies, or maybe even a tear or two (from kids or grown-ups!), know that you are surrounded by teachers and friends who are ready to learn, play, laugh, explore, and grow with you.

Here’s to a wonderful year of new friendships, big discoveries, messy art projects, joyful play, and experiencing God’s love in all kinds of ways. 🌈

MEET THE KID'S MORNING OUT TEACHERS
Tonight (Wednesday, September 2) at 5:30pm

TOGETHER TO START
We will start together in the atrium (main entrance) with a brief presentation from our Pastors and Administrators. Families will learn more about our shared mission, expectations for the school year, and the resources available to support our families.

CLASSROOM TIME
After the opening presentation, families will break away to their classrooms to meet their teacher and assistant teacher. Teachers are there to answer any class specific information and put your child at ease. Teachers will be available until 7pm to answer questions.

Be sure to stop by our Tshirt table to purchase your KMO spirit wear. Shirts will cost $10 if paid by cash or check and $11 paid online. Together, We Support. Together, We Succeed.

Last week the pastors of Williamsburg United Methodist Church held the last chapel time of the Kid's Morning Out school year. As a special tradition, our pastors shared “bubble blessings,” sending shimmering bubbles floating through the air as a reminder that God’s love surrounds us, lifts us up, and goes with us wherever we go.

We are so grateful for this time together and for each kiddo who fills our halls with joy. God’s love goes with you—today and always

Saturday’s Kid's Morning Out Teddy Bear Tea was full of joy as children dressed up, brought their favorite stuffed friends, and gathered for tea, treats, and plenty of smiles.

Not only was this a beautiful celebration of imagination, friendship, and community, but this cherished annual event helped support our preschool Kid’s Morning Out scholarship fund, making it possible for more children to learn, grow, and be loved in this special place.

Thank you to everyone who hosted, helped, attended, and gave so generously. Because of you, this was more than just a tea party—it was love in action.
