hello citizen lawyers! ✨are you interested in joining SBA? today the application for appointed positions has officially opened!! (check your emails) 👏🥳

please refer to the email for instructions on how to properly submit your application. we have also included a powerpoint presentation that details each open position and the duties/responsibilities that come with being on SBA. the application closes on TUESDAY, MARCH 4th at 11:59pm, and we will inform applicants of our decisions before Spring Break!

As the previous SBA administration contributed to the symposium, we wanted to share the information on this exciting event happening tomorrow:

The Symposium is on a case currently pending cert. that we think will get taken up. The event is set for TOMORROW, Feb. 27th, so we are able to get in on the topic before it’s argued before the Court! The organization decided to kick things off with a moot court where two moot court team members (John Thayer and Karyann Parkinson) will argue the case in front of the guests, consisting of experts in the field and lawyers on the case. There will also be refreshments and a panel, followed by a networking reception. The guests are listed on the poster, and we’re all very excited to have them come to campus! 👏

With the recent election of the new SBA Exec Board, we must say a big THANK YOU to our ‘24-‘25 Exec Board for their dedication and hard work over the past year! Your leadership and commitment have made a lasting impact on our law school community, and we truly appreciate all that you’ve done for both SBA and the student body! ✨🫂👏

We will also be missing our graduating 3L members who have similarly demonstrated a strong commitment to this school by serving on SBA. Thank you all!! 💚🎓💛
