Expanding Access Through Community Partnership!

Literacy for Life is thrilled to partner with Operation Breaking Through to serve adults in downtown Newport News!

Last Friday, Human Services Coordinator Casey Guditus trained our first group of Operation Breaking Through volunteers. They will provide tutor support to adults in their community, helping remove transportation barriers that often prevent adults from accessing educational services.

Operation Breaking Through already serves downtown Newport News through mentorship, a diaper bank, food and school supply distributions, and other essential services. Find out more at https://www.facebook.com/OBTVA/.

Together, we're building on that commitment to make education more accessible and create new opportunities for our neighbors.
