Bravo to theatre departments of Jamestown, Warhill, and Lafayette High Schools! We thoroughly enjoyed A Night of One Acts last night.

Keep an eye on the calendar for June 2026 when the three will collaborate to present Suffs, a musical about the suffragette movement. The collective were one of only 12 high school theatre groups in the country to be awarded an opportunity to present this show, only a year after it closed on Broadway.

Williamsburg-James City County Council PTA could use your help toward a wonderful cause.

We (for the first time or, at least, for the first time in many years) are holding a fundraiser in the hopes that we may be able to add to our abilities to fund grants and scholarships to the PTAs, PTSAs and students in WJCC.

We have chosen to support Wreaths Across America in their efforts. If you are not familiar, this is the non-profit organization that orchestrates the laying of wreaths in national cemeteries across the nation each December. The wreath laying is December 13th this year.

They ask for sponsorships of wreaths to help offset the cost of production and shipping of the wreaths. For every wreath sponsored through the WJCC Council PTA link below, a portion of funds will come back to WJCC Council PTA.

The link will automatically go to local national cemeteries in Hampton and Williamsburg HOWEVER you can choose any participating national cemetery (to include Arlington). And, for some cemeteries, you can select the specific gravesite where the wreath is to be placed, should you have loved ones you wish to honor.
