Here is what one of my children had to say:

My parents sent me to Aunt Kathy’s until I was nine years old. In those nine years, she helped to raise me with dedicated attention in a nurturing environment. To the children she cares for, Aunt Kathy fosters discipline, kindness, generosity, and respect for both adults and other children. She teaches children how to “use your words” rather than crying to articulate and resolve their problems, that picking up your toys is always a requirement for the next activity, and that a polite “yes ma’am” or “no sir” are the only ways to answer an adult. Even after I left, I took her lessons with me. Growing up, teachers constantly commented about how I was the best behaved and most respectful student in their classes, and I can instantly recognize a well-raised child out of a gaggle of other children. At 26, I’ll be having children of my own soon, and I know I’ll be raising them in line with the rules Aunt Kathy set for me.
