Meet the sports medicine staff: Dr. David Dome. Dr. Dome is our team orthopedic surgeon from Lexington Clinic. He has worked with all our UC sports teams for almost 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoys riding and showing his horses.

Meet the Sports Medicine Staff: up next is Associate Athletic Trainer Hannah England. She has been working at UC for almost five years and works with men’s wrestling and women’s lacrosse. She is from Canmer Kentucky. Fun fact: she likes to crochet and read thriller books in her free time.

A Fun Fact about her is that she is an alumni of University of the Cumberlands and has a cat named Church.

Meet the Sports Medicine Staff: Chris Fuson, DPT has been with UC for 4 years and is our Director of Rehabilitation. He’s worked a lot of places and always says this is his favorite staff that truly feels like family. One thing most people may not know about him is that he plays guitar and sings. He was one of the original pastors at Immanuel Williamsburg.

Meet your Sports Medicine Staff: Next up is Associate Athletic Trainer Zach Phillips. He works with Women’s Soccer and Women’s Wrestling. He has been at UC for just over a year and is originally from North Carolina. A fun fact about Zach is he grew up with 5 horses.

Meet the Sports Medicine Staff. Next up is Associate Athletic Trainer Kirby McClain who works with football and tennis. She is originally from St Louis, MO and this is her 3rd year at UC. A fun fact about Kirby is she has been a lifelong athlete and started shadowing her athletic trainer in high school when she was 16.
