It's Techie Tuesday! Let's give a warm welcome to Eliza Trost, our new Workday Reporting and Analytics Lead!

Eliza is a Nashville native who came to W&M for college and never really left. Her Tribe journey actually started at the W&M Bookstore, where she loved helping students and profs. From there, she moved into the Center for Archaeological Research as Fiscal Admin & Coordinator, and that's where she found her love for data cleanup and analysis, which led her straight into W&M's Workday implementation.

Now she's bringing all that experience to her new role, building Workday reports that make life easier for folks across campus. 📊

Fun fact: Eliza has two sisters, a botanist and a vet student, so naturally, she calls them her "Plant Sister" and "Animal Sister". And Eliza? She's the "Human Sister," thanks to her love of theatre and a career that's always been about people first.

Techie Tuesday: Say hi to Rachel Cole! 🎉

Rachel just joined our Data & Analytics IT team as a Data Engineer, and we're so excited to have her! 💻

Before this role, Rachel worked as a Research Specialist I at VIMS, then came back to W&M last year for grad school in the MSBA program. Data work has always been part of Rachel's toolkit, and now it's front and center as she steps fully into the world of data engineering.

When she's not crunching data, you can find her hunting for fossils, reading a good book, or cheering on Tribe Women's Basketball with her family at home games!

Techie Tuesday is here! 👋 Meet Chloe Hoech, our new Technology Support Specialist.

Chloe made her way from San Marcos, Texas, with experience ranging from substitute teaching to tutoring in her university's computer lab. She earned her B.A. in Computer Science and now puts that troubleshooting know-how to work as one of the first friendly faces you'll meet at W&M's Technology Support Center (The TSC)—helping faculty, staff, and students with all things tech.

When she's not solving tech problems, Chloe's getting creative with digital and traditional art, or hanging out with her two cats. 🐾

Techie Tuesday! Meet Ghana Smith, our new Change Management & Training Specialist!

Ghana's been part of the W&M family for over 12 years where she started in Payroll, moved into Financial Systems, and most recently lead training for the Workday rollout. Now she's stepping into a new role helping faculty, staff, and students get comfortable with new tech across campus!

Fun fact: she's appeared in a Whitney Houston music video AND jumped out of a plane. When she's not off having adventures, she collects Delta Air Lines trading cards.
