Turning Innovative Ideas Into Action: The Grade 12 HUMSS Capstone Challenge 2026

The Grade 12 HUMSS students of Baras Pinugay Integrated High School successfully presented their Community Action Plan Capstone Projects for the subject Community Engagement, Solidarity, and Citizenship (CESC). Eight qualified groups took part in the presentation, showcasing their proposed action plans in response to identified community needs and concerns. The presentations were witnessed and evaluated by our esteemed community leaders, Councilor Peter Leo Robles, SK Federation President Aron John Manalo, and SK Councilor Kristine Rose Hoylar, whose insights and feedback contributed to the learners' understanding of meaningful community engagement.

The event was formally opened by the School Principal, Dr. Rhene Boy F. Brozo, who emphasized the importance of developing learners who are socially responsible and responsive to the needs of their community. The successful conduct of the Capstone Presentation was made possible through the dedication and coordination of the organizers, Dr. John Kelvin SL. Pantaleon, Jaspher S. Quirre, and Mary Rose SJ. Lacson.

After the presentations, the following groups emerged as the top-performing teams:

The Capstone Presentation highlighted the potential of young people to become active partners in community development and demonstrated that meaningful citizenship begins with awareness, participation, and a genuine commitment to serve.

ANOTHER MILESTONE UNLOCKED!

Baras-Pinugay Integrated High School (BPIHS) proudly celebrates another noteworthy accomplishment as its Professional Development Program (PDP) INSET entitled "Empowering Key Stage 3 and 4 Teachers through Supportive, Responsive, Inclusive, and Technology-Driven Teaching and Learning Towards Learners' Positive Discipline" has been officially approved and accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) with 12 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Units.

The school likewise extends its heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Ma'am Janice L. Balajadia, the proponent of the program, whose dedication, expertise, and perseverance were instrumental in the successful development and accreditation of this initiative.

Taos-pusong pagpupugay at pagbati sa mga atletang mag-aaral ng Baras-Pinugay Integrated High School na matagumpay na nagkamit ng ginto, pilak, at tansong medalya sa katatapos na Municipal Athletic Meet 2026.

Ang natamong tagumpay ay bunga ng kanilang walang sawang pagsisikap, disiplina, tiyaga, at dedikasyon sa pagsasanay. Higit pa rito, ito ay sumasalamin sa kanilang katatagan sa pagharap sa mga hamon at sa kanilang kahandaang magbigay ng karangalan sa paaralan at sa pamayanan.
