As we work together to keep our school day running smoothly and safely, we want to send out a quick but crucial reminder regarding after-school pick-up.
Please ensure your child is picked up no later than 3:15 PM each day.

Why is this so important?
No After-Hours Supervision: WUES campus supervision ends promptly by 3:00 PM. After this time, staff members transition to meetings, prep work, or off-campus commitments, meaning there is no staff on duty to supervise students left on campus.
Student Safety: Your child’s safety is our top priority. Leaving students unsupervised on school grounds after hours creates unnecessary safety risks.
We completely understand that traffic, work schedules, and unexpected delays happen! If you know you are going to be delayed due to an emergency, please call the main office as soon as possible so we can help coordinate. Otherwise, if your schedule makes a 3:30 PM pick-up difficult on a regular basis, please reach out to us to explore local after-school program options.

Every day of school counts! Consistent attendance is key to your child's learning, growth, and social connection. To help keep our school day running smoothly and ensure every student is safe and accounted for, please keep the following procedures in mind:

📞 Student Absences
We completely understand that life happens—illness, appointments, and unexpected family events come up! However, it is very important that parents or guardians call the office first thing in the morning to notify us of any absence.
⚠️ Note: If we do not hear from a parent or guardian to confirm the absence, the student will be marked as unexcused.
⏰ Morning Schedule & Line-Up
8:10 AM: The starting bell rings!
Students are expected to be in their designated class lines at 8:10 AM sharp, ready to walk to the classroom with their teacher.
🚶 Late Arrivals & Tardies
Missed the Line Walk? Any student who arrives after their class has walked to the classroom must come directly to the front office to pick up a tardy slip before heading to class.
Late Check-Ins: For any late arrivals throughout the day, students must check in at the main office first before heading to their classroom.

📢 Important Dismissal Reminders for WUES Families 📢

Please note the early release schedule for the rest of the week, and help us keep our students safe during pickup!

Today: Students are released at 1:50 PM.

Tomorrow through Friday: Students will be released at 12:40 PM.

🚗 Pickup & Parking Reminders:

If your student does not ride the bus, please ensure they are picked up in a timely manner.

Do not block the Fire Lane (red zones) or any parked cars in the lot.
