🐝📚 Leading the Way Through Learning!

Today, Ms. Finn and Ms. Fennell led our Penderlea staff in professional learning focused on digging deeper into the North Carolina Standards and strengthening vertical alignment across grade levels.

Our staff worked together to examine how standards and skills build from one grade level to the next, helping us create stronger connections for students throughout their K–8 journey.

We’re proud to have teacher leaders sharing their expertise and a staff committed to continuously improving instruction for our Hornets! 💛🖤

The CFCC Dual Enrollment Information Nights are right around the corner! These information nights will provide families with information about the College Accelerated Program (CAP), Pender Early College High School (PECHS), and Career and College Promise Program (CCP).

Topsail High School: September 1, 5:30–6:30 p.m.

Heide Trask High School: September 3, 5:30–6:30 p.m.

Pender High School: September 9, 5:30–6:30 p.m.

📣 Introducing the Penderlea Edition of the Pender Patriots Cheer Squad! ❤️💙

Choosing this squad was not easy! There were so many talented girls who worked hard and gave their all during tryouts. These 12 girls have earned their spots through their hard work, dedication, and determination, and we couldn’t be more proud of them!

We are looking forward to an amazing 2026 football season cheering our Patriots on from the sidelines! 🏈📣
