Today we went out and dug for worms! They each made their own worm farm!! Despite all the craziness in the world right now, kids always know how to have fun! The smallest things make them happy 😁 Which makes us Happy!!❤

Ok Smart Start Parents this is what we have decided to do. We will open as usual tomorrow and go from there. We will be checking the kids as they come in, asking that they wash hands and please do not bring anything other than your kid ( no toys, blankets, stuffed toys) We will know more what is going on tomorrow. The girls that have offered to work are just as concerned for your health as they are theirs. We feel we are providing a service to those of you who are still required to work. Thank you for the offers to pay and your words of encouragement. This is defiantly a hard time for everyone. Please keep in touch with your teachers so we know what’s going on with our kids. Smart Start II parents of the Willard location. What are your thoughts on the daycare being open and or closed during this time? How many of you are still going to work? How many of you work in health care and are required to work? The girls are willing to do what is best for the kids. Should the kids/ girls stay home? I as the owner want what is best for the girls, parents and kids. I have had discussions with the girls and we all agreed we need to get the parents perspective. Daycares have not been required to close due to the need for health care workers and those required to work at this time. If we close obviously I would not expect you to pay and will be scrambling to figure that out as well but am not making this an issue for I want everyone safe first. Just so everyone knows we are not closed, we are not mandated to shut down as of now! We are able to keep SCHOOL Agers at this time! If any siblings need a place to go please let us know!! Thank you!
