Fun family event in Boone 💚

Appalachian State’s Child Advocacy Club Announces…

HIGH COUNTRY DAY OF PLAY! 🎉☀️🤗

We received a grant from the International Play Association’s USA Branch to bring open-ended, child centered playful learning to the High Country for FREE!

🗓️ Join us from 2-4pm on Sunday, October 25th at Boone’s Brookshire Park! 🏔️
250 Brookshire Rd, Boone, NC

This drop-in outdoor play event will include nature play, bubbles, creativity and more! We are so thankful to IPA USA and to our club members for helping us to make this happen!

Please feel free to share with any families looking for a Sunday Funday activity! 🌟

If you are watching Isaias from Western NC, don't focus on the eye of the storm so much. Watch the feeder band (circled in yellow here).

The feeder band will arrive Saturday evening, and THAT'S the issue for us. If you think it looks ugly, you are right. Exactly who gets the most direct here is yet to be determined.

Watch our forecast at raysweather.com. We will keep you informed as the storm progresses today.
