Hi everyone! My name is Bailey Parker. I am excited to be joining the Wilkesboro community as the new Pre-K teacher assistant!

I have 2 years of experience as a second grade teacher, and after taking a year to stay home with my little girl, Gracie, I am so excited to be back in the classroom. My faith, my husband Logan, my daughter Gracie, and working with children are some of the most important parts of my life.

I am looking forward to getting to know the students, families, staff, and building meaningful relationships throughout the school year. I am excited for a wonderful year of learning, growing, and empowering all learners to reach their greatest potential.

My name is Rhonda Dagenhart, and I am excited to join Wilkesboro Elementary as a Pre-K Teacher. I earned a Master’s degree from Salem College. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family.

I’m so excited to join the WES family as a K–5 Exceptional Children teacher! After teaching at Wilkes Central HS last year, I’m looking forward to continuing to support students as they discover their strengths and grow in confidence.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, hiking, golfing, and gardening. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year! 💚💛🦅

You've got mail! 📪 We mailed postcards through US mail on Wednesday to the address in Infinite Campus. Scratch the mystery box to see this year's teacher and follow the QR code to sign up for your family conference.

If your child doesn't get a postcard by Monday afternoon, you can call our office after 3:00 Monday to find out who their teachers will be. We plan to post the conference sign ups (from the QR code) on our website Monday afternoon.

Teachers will also be reaching out through ParentSquare, so it'll be important to get that set up. We no longer have access through REMIND. Below is a link on how to set up ParentSquare.

WElcome! My name is Mrs. Barbara Ritchie, and I am thrilled to be serving as an ESL/MLL Educator for Wilkesboro Elementary this year!

I am passionate about bringing our MLL families directly into our school community, creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to participate.

When I’m not in the classroom, I love immersing myself in new cultures and languages - including constantly trying to enhance my Spanish speaking and listening skills whenever I am chatting with friends!

You can always find me out on a hiking trail (always on the hunt for a new hiking stick medallion to add to my travel collection), cooking and baking up new recipes, listening to music from around the world, and, above all, spending quality time with my loved ones near and far.

I am so excited for the wonderful year ahead and look forward to connecting with each of you!

Hello everyone! My name is Lauren Mehringer. I am so excited to be the new Exceptional Children's teacher at Wilkesboro Elementary School.

I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with my undergraduate and graduate degree in Special Education and have been teaching for almost 3 years!

I just got married this summer and that is what brought me to this beautiful place! I am so excited to begin working with this team and these students. My goal as an Exceptional Students teacher is to provide my students with the support, advocacy, and tools necessary to reach their full potential in their educational journey and in all aspects of their life. I can't wait to do that with the love and support of you all! It's time to have an amazing school year!
