Our programs are thoughtfully designed to support every stage of early childhood development. Our informal program introduces children to essential early concepts such as the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. Each month, we explore a special theme—ranging from seasons and holidays to safety, and even learning their home address and phone number—making learning meaningful and fun. Building on these foundational skills, our formal educational program offers a more structured approach. Children delve into vowels, phonics, basic math, early geography, and beginner Spanish. This curriculum prepares them for future academic success while keeping learning engaging and enjoyable. Our Pre-K classroom is led by a certified early childhood educator with specialized training in kindergarten readiness. Small Wonders at Wilkes-Barre Academy is licensed annually, and all staff meet or exceed state requirements for early childhood education. We take pride in our team’s professionalism, compassion, and dedication. We also prioritize physical and creative development. Our center features large motor skill equipment, allowing children to build strength and coordination during free play. Music and art are integral parts of every class, fostering creativity and self-expression. Two years ago at our Small Wonders Fall Festival, a few pumpkin seeds found their way into the ground. We decided to leave them and see what would happen... and a fun tradition was born! 🍂✨

Fast forward to today… our very own pumpkin patch is growing right outside our doors! 🌱🧡
